Snowshoeing Expedition - April 6th

Students and teachers had a great time snowshoeing at Gold Lake Snow Park! It was originally cancelled due to weather, but the group got to enjoy a classic snowshoe day with fresh snow. Our superintendent, Dr. Huld, taught the group 10 essential things to carry in your bag when you head out into the great outdoors. BWA staff says they look forward to doing it again next year!

Dr. Seuss Day - March 5th

On March 5th more than 30 students from kindergarten to 5th grade joined in on the fun in BWAs annual Read Across America Day. They kicked off the afternoon by munching on none other than green eggs and ham. Thing 1 and Thing 2 cooked for an dfed the group with great success. The group made and decorated memory bookmarks and read through some of Dr. Seuss’s best as they talked about where students would love to someday go. Student wrote their name on their balloon and put it on their dream spot on the world map. They finished the day off by decorating balloon cookies and devouring plenty of frosting and sprinkles!
