NFL Ranking Teams And Predictions

#1: Eagles. Last year the Eagles won a Super Bowl against the Patriots without Carson Wentz. Carson threw 33 Touch Down's in only 13 games. If he puts those kind of numbers up next year, we are looking at an MVP candidate and possibly back-to-back Super Bowls. Don’t forget the Eagles have a stingy defense.

Predicted Record: 15-1

#2: Steelers. I know you’re thinking that this should be the Patriots spot, but no. The Steelers didn’t do as good as I expected, they should have beat the Jaguars. The Steelers will be back with Big Ben, Le’veon Bell, Antonio Brown, and their killer defense.

Predicted Record: 14-2

#3: 49ers. Yes I know this is a bold prediction but we saw what the 49ers did with Jimmy Garoppolo. Jimmy-G went 5-0 in his 5 games with the Niners, and in that span he threw for 1,560 Yards and 7 Touch Downs. The Niners defense has added CB Richard Sherman and will prove to be a big part of the Niners season.

Predicted Record: 13-3

#4: Vikings. The Viking’s Defense is all that. They have also added Kirk Cousins to their offense, which will have a healthy Dalvin Cook, and Stefon Diggs. Yes, I believe the Vikings will once again make a strong Super Bowl run.

Predicted Record: 12-4

#5: Patriots. The Patriots will be good again this season but, Tom Brady will be 41 and who knows how much longer he will really last. They don’t have an especially strong defense, and they lost Malcolm Butler, and Dion Lewis in Free Agency.

Predicted Record: 12-4

#6: Falcons. Matt Ryan is still a great QuarterBack and Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman are still great Running Backs. Julio Jones is still a freak of nature, and their Defense is young and strong. The only question is if the Fail Clowns will choke or not. Predicted Record: 11-5

#7: Saints. Drew Brees is going to pass Peyton Manning as the NFL’s all time passing yards leader and is still going to be amazing at 39 years old. They made it to the playoffs last year but lost due to a miracle Touch Down pass to Stefon Diggs they didn't go any farther. Michael Thomas is a good young Wide Receiver and Marshon Lattimore is going to pick off Quarter Backs again this year. They just hope there will be no more lucky Hail Marys.

Predicted Record: 10-6

#8: Titans. The Titans made the playoffs last year and will again this season. Marcus Mariota showed what he could do when he had a reliable Wide Receiver catching his passes, he is going to be a Pro-Bowl caliber QuarterBack this year. Derrick Henry will be the main Running Back and the edition of Dion Lewis will be good for the offensive side of the ball. As for the defense the addition of Malcolm Butler should be a huge stepping stone.

Predicted Record: 10-6

#9: Jaguars. The Jags will be good again, with their absolutely stacked defense. Blake Bortles is a decent QuarterBack but is extremely inconsistent. I think they will win one playoff game and then they will lose, but nonetheless they will be a top team. Predicted Record: 10-6

#10: Chiefs. The Chiefs will no longer have Alex Smith, but, they will have a promising second year Quarter Back Pat Mahomes. They still have a relatively good defense and a very dangerous kick returner named Tyreek Hill. In summary they will make the playoffs, but will go no farther than the first game. Predicted Record: 10-6

#11: Cowboys. The Cowboys didn’t do as well as they did in Dak Prescott's rookie season. They will bounce back though because Ezekiel Elliott was suspended for part of the season. Dak Prescott is a decent Quarter Back and should be able to lead the Cowboys back to the Playoffs.

Predicted Record: 10-6

#12: Texans. Deshaun Watson was amazing in his seven games played. He threw for 1,699 YDS and 19 TouchDowns. Their defense will continue to shut down opposing offenses, and the edition of Safety Tyrann Mathieu will just make their defense completely stacked. Long Story short they will be a playoff team.

Predicted Record: 9-7

#13: Rams. Yes I know this is a bit far back for the Rams but I feel like they won’t be as good as they were last year. Jared Goff is a good QB but I don’t think he has very good Wide Receivers. They will make the playoffs but it will be because their defense not their offense.

Predicted Record: 9-7

#14: Ravens. The Ravens are yet another team with a strong Defense. They will make the playoffs but they will be a Wild Card team. Joe Flacco is a Super Bowl Quarter Back and is reliable, but he is getting older and he doesn’t have reliable Wide Receivers catching his passes.

Predicted Record: 9-7

#15: Bills. The Bills lost Tyrod Taylor in Free Agency, but will most likely draft one of the top QBs. I don’t know much about their Defense but I think they will once again make a playoff push.

Predicted Record: 9-7

#16. Raiders. The Raiders didn’t make the playoffs but they will this year. Derek Carr is a good QB and Amari Cooper is reliable, they have also added Jordy Nelson to their offensive lineup. Their Defense is strong, but has room for improvement. They will make the playoffs with a 9-7 record.

Predicted Record: 9-7

#17. Seahawks. The Seahawks had an amazing defense, but due to the recent loss of CB Richard Sherman they won’t have his his All-Pro talent intercepting passes. Russell Wilson has not had a reliable O-line in forever, and even though he still rips defenses apart, it’s not going to be easy getting crunched by a 260+ pound lineman all the time. The Seahawks will put up a good fight and might squeeze into the playoffs but it’s likely they won’t go farther than the first playoff game.

Predicted Record: 8-8

#18. Giants. The Giants dip a belly-flop last season, but this season they will improve. They have a top 1st round pick that will likely be used to draft Running Back Saquon Barkley. The Giants still have a decent defense but Manning is getting older. Beckham JR will be back but to say the least they will most likely finish 7-9.

Predicted Record: 7-9

#19. Redskins. The Redskins will be the Redhawks now due to cultural insensitivity, so I am going to refer to them as the Hawks or Redhawks. The Hawks lost Kirk Cousins to Free Agency but were able to acquire veteran QB Alex Smith. Smith did well in his seasons with Kansas City but it will take him a while to adjust to a new system. Kirk Cousins is better than Smith but he never took the Hawks to the playoffs and neither will Smith.

Predicted Record: 7-9

#20. Chargers. The Chargers are a good team but when it seems like they will make a run they just flop. Rivers is a great QuarterBack and Keenan Allen is a good Wide Receiver while healthy. They have a decent defense, but they just never do enough.

Predicted Record: 7-9

#21. Browns. The Browns have amazing talent they just don’t know how to use it right. They made some important moves in the off-season. They added Tyrod Taylor and Jarvis Landry. They have the very first pick in the draft and I think they also have another one a little later in the first round. If the Browns can use their talent they will be a playoff contender in a couple of seasons.

Predicted Record: 7-9

#22. Packers. I know you are thinking this is a bit low for the Packers but I really feel that it won’t go to well for the Packers this year. Yes they did get 6’6’’ Tight End Jimmy Graham, but Aaron Rodgers has never once in his career had a good Tight End and I don’t think he is going to adjust to the new setup very easily. Jordy Nelson was traded to the Raiders so that means that Rodgers’ best Wide Receiver is Davante Adams. Adams is pretty good and may succeed as a number one Wide Receiver but I don’t think it is really going to matter. Rodgers will have another All-Pro caliber season but the Packers are not going to make the playoffs.

Predicted Record: 7-9

#23. Dolphins. The Dolphins are a decent team and have decent talent but there is some HUGE factors into how their season will go. First, they lost Jarvis Landry who is their best Wide Receiver. Second, Ryan Tannehill is still trying to figure out if he is a average QB or a All-Pro QB. Third, the Dolphins have a Quarterback controversy. They have to figure out whether to start Jay Cutler, Ryan Tannehill or draft one of the top QB prospects. The Dolphins are not going to be good but it will be fun to watch what decisions they make. Predicted Record: 6-10

#24. Panthers. The Panthers are a great team, they have so much talent. But, the O-line is terrible and cannot keep Cam Newton on his feet. The Panthers defense is elite and can force turnovers, but the offense can’t score. Cam Newton is a freakishly good athlete but he can’t win the games all by himself. All in all the Panthers will once again stink this year.

Predicted Record: 6-10

#25. Broncos. Even though they finally found a Quarter Back the Broncos will not do anything to win games. When I see them play I think they look kind of lazy. They will win some games but only when they are playing against really bad teams. The Quarter Back they acquired was Case Keenum the one who led the Vikings to the the NFC Championship game. Anyway, the Broncos will be stinky again.

Predicted Record: 6-10

#26. Cardinals. I feel like all the Cardinals have done the last few years is lose players. They lost Calais Campbell, Tyrann Mathieu and Carson Palmer. Larry Fitzgerald is still amazing at 34 and will now have Sam Bradford throwing him passes, but, they will still be really bad.

Predicted Record: 6-10

#27. Bengals. I am going to start with this. Andy Dalton is the most average player in the history of the NFL. Literally, he isn’t really bad or really good he is just average. A.J. Green will once again be outstanding but that is going to be about the only outstanding thing on that whole team.

Predicted Record: 6-10

#28. Lions. This may be a little bit far down for this team but really, think about it. They are the Lions. They never do anything. They have no running game, they have no defense, they have nothing. The only good thing on that team is Matt Stafford.

Predicted Record: 5-11

#29. Colts. Andrew Luck is a great QuarterBack but he really doesn’t have much of a supporting cast. The Defense is bad, and they never make any effort whatsoever to improve it. Frank Gore can’t last to much longer, so they are going to have to start thinking about that too.

Predicted Record: 5-11

#30. Bears. The poor, poor Bears. I don’t think they have been good since 1985 when they won the SuperBowl. That means it’s been 33 years since they’ve been good. The Defense is pretty pitiful and so is the offense. The only good player is Jordan Howard. The poor Bears are going to have another sad season.

Predicted Record: 5-11

#31. Jets. The Jets are going to draft a Quarter Back but I don’t think it’s going to make much of a difference. If they draft a good Quarter Back he is just going to have to deal with a terrible offense. The Jets are kind of a sad team. They just cannot get a hold of a Quarter Back. They haven’t had a good Quarter Back since Joe Namath, which was from the mid-60s to the mid-70s. It is going to be fun to watch teams play against the Jets.

Predicted Record: 4-12

#32. Buccaneers. And at last we have reached the worst team. Jameis Winston is extremely inconsistent and throws way to many interceptions. Mike Evans is a good Wide Receiver, but he has problems with drops. The Bucs defense is also pretty sad and that isn’t good for any team. Desean Jackson is still decent, but he is getting a little older now. The Bucs are going to be the worst team and it is going to be fun to watch! Predicted Record: 3-13
